The Nathaniel Watson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization designed to assist families of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. We are a state licensed provider of home healthcare, hospice and companion services in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Many of our programs are provided throughout the state of Georgia. Our clients may be located in their homes or hospital setting. Many times, our clients are returning home from the hospital and require skilled nursing on a temporary basis during their recovery period. Regardless of their need, our professional staff of nurses and personal care specialists are dedicated to meeting our clients’ individual needs by providing them with the additional assistance needed to maintain or regain their health and happiness. |

Our
Staff of professionals, including RNs, LPNs, Licensed Social Workers and CNAs, work as a team to provide the best possible care and support for each client based upon their individual needs and home care situation. Everything we do is designed with our clients and their families as our top priority. |

Our staff is thoroughly screened during the hiring process, including a criminal background check and drug testing. The Nathaniel Watson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. carefully oversees the continuing education of its medical staff to ensure that their knowledge base and skills are always current. |

The Nathaniel Watson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in February of 2001 and received its non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service in April 2001. The Board of Directors has a diverse background which includes two pediatric oncologists from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta: Egleston. This governing Board, over the last five years, has established a dynamic organization comprised of excellent medical and professional staff responsible for providing a wide-range of services to the community throughout Atlanta and the State of Georgia. |

A dedicated Board of Directors runs the Nathaniel Watson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. Our Board of Directors has extensive work experience ranging from the president of the NAACP (Atlanta Chapter) to hosting his or her own television shows. The Board is in place to give The Foundation guidance and direction, and also to assist in the major decision making processes. They also lead our fund-raising efforts. |
